VolleyBall in Saskatoon !

This weekend I went to Saskatoon to play in the volleyball nationals. It took 5 or more hours to get there, it didn't seem like that long because I was aloud to ride up with Adrienne and Stephanie, Mrs. Richard was the driver for that trip. We watched one movie that I thought was pretty scary but really isn't, it was called the exorcist.

After we watched that movie we were about 10 minutes away from Saskatoon. When we arrived we all went to the Sandman Hotel, where Adrienne and Stephanie were staying. We had to get changed really quick because we had a practice before the opening ceremony.

The ceremony was about 30 minutes, after the ceremonies my mom and dad got there and they took me out for supper. It tasted really good, because we went to Boston Pizza, after we were done supper we all got in the truck and went to my cousin Colin and Julie. They have a big and nice house!

They next day we had to play 3 games we won our first game, lost our second game in a third set and then won our third game in a third set. Every one was really happy and we did pretty good for the first day. After we just went back to Colin 's hose and watched movies in the movie room. The second day we played 3 games as well we lost our first game won your second game then won our third game in three sets. Sunday was our last day to play we played 3 games again. It was a really good day because we had to win as many games as we could to get into a medal game. We won our first game, but sadly was lost our second game and if we won that we would be playing for the gold medal but since we lost we went and played for the bronze medal. We played against BIG BEAR we beat them in the first set, lost in the second set, and thankfully beat them in the third set.

By 3 o' clock Sunday we were bronze medal winners, we won best dressed as well, but we didn't get anything for it. Thanks to Kim Gee for getting our outfits ready and to Steve Densmore for coaching us.

Living in Calgary

My mother once told me that I was going to live in Calgary with my grandma Dianne, she is very sick, she has cancer.

I was excited at first then I got scared because I didn't want to see my grandma when she was sick and I didn't want to see her die. My grandma has a friend that comes to visit her from Toronto, he comes down every second month to check on her.

Today was my birthday I was turning just 14 years old, today was also the day I was going to move to Calgary. I had everything packed I had almost 25 pictures of me and my family and well a lot of my little sister I was going to miss her like crazy.

I took me a 10 almost 11 hours to drive to Calgary and there were 4 moving vans behind our vehicle that's how much stuff I had. When I got there only 2 or 3 of the vans had items in them. This is because 1 or 2 of the moving vans didn't get closed all the way so most of my stuff fell out. When I got to Calgary grandma Dianne had a whole new wardrobe for me.

There were a lot of people at my grandma's house just to meet me because my grandma told everyone I was famous, everyone wanted to meet me. My grandma did that so I would have friends at my new school.

"Hi grandma how are you feeling right now?" I said.

"I'm doing fine. How are you? Oh, let me show you where your room is. I had workers come and make a little house for you in my back yard. The only thing it doesn't have is a kitchen, but it does have counters and shelves to put your food in. You also have a walk-in closet. it can hold almost 50 overweight men, you will have a lot of room,"!! Grandma Dianne said.

" Thanks grandma I can't wait to see it,"! I said

" I would love to help you put your stuff in your small house but I don't feel good I have to go lay down," she said.

"You always do that as soon as I get here you have to go and lay down I don't know why I ever agreed to come here. I thought we could spend time together, and hang out but I guess not!" I yelled.

After we had the fight I decided I couldn't stay, I didn't even want to look at her.

When I got home I felt really bad. I went back to my grandma's the day after. I took back everything I had said.

Faith, Meaghan, and Candace

"I don't know," she said to Faith. Today was the first day of school.

" It's almost 8:45 we have to get going or we will be late," Meaghan yelled at Faith. On there way to school Faith and Meaghan saw their friend Candace.

" Hey do you want to walk with us?" Meaghan asked with an attitude.

" Why did you say it like that?" Faith asked. Meaghan didn't answer and just walked away.

When Faith and Candace saw Meaghan at school they walked by her and said nothing. " You guys are being so mean to me you didn't even talk to me when you saw me in the hall.

"Well you were really mean to Candace before and we just didn't want to talk to you, sorry for that but you needed a taste of your own medicine, I bet you don't really like it do you?" Faith said. Meaghan walked away from the girls after they talked.

"I don't get it why does she always act like that around me?" asked Candace.

"I don't really know, but she kind of thinks that I can only have one friend which would be her but I really want to be friends with both of you," cried Faith.

After a long day of school all three girls met at the rink to watch Meaghan's boyfriend play hockey, he was the best on his team, he was the strongest, fastest and the team captain his name is Mitchie.

"How long have you and Mitchie been going out for?" Candace asked.

" I think it has been almost 2 years, 8 months, 24 hours, 45 minutes and 13 wait 14 seconds. I really like him and I don't want to mess this one up and I love keeping time and stuff like that," Meaghan said.

"Well I'm glad for you,"candace said.

After the game and after the girls talked for awhile Candace stopped bugging Meaghan about everything, Candace, Meaghan, and Faith were all friends.

My New Year's Resolution

Here are some goals that I have for the year 2011.

1) My first goal is to see my grandma before she passes away from cancer.

2) Another goal is to get better grades in Science and Social Studies.

3) My third goal is to be a better big sister and don't get so mad at my sister all the time.

4) My fourth goal is to do all of my chores on time and hopefully get payed.

5) Another goal is to have a great report card with all 1 and 2's.

6) My sixth goal is to finish reading my book that I got for Christmas before 2 months is over.

7) My seventh goal is to not have a really bad temper because I can get really mad really fast.

8) Another goal is to be able to play my flute with my braces.

9) My ninth goal is to make my blog look better.

10) My very last goal is to get the best mark on my new independent book report.

My Christmas Break

Some of the things that I did this Christmas are:

I went to the sledding hill with my sister and Jane.

I went to Brandon with my mom and sister for dentist appointments then we went back the following day to get some of my brackets put back on because they had fallen off.

Another thing we did was open our presents on Christmas morning then on boxing day we went shopping and I got some really cool stuff.

For new year's eve we went to my parents friends house from about 8:00 p.m until 1:20 a.m.

I didn't get to see get to see my grandma this Christmas because she went to Toronto to see her mom.

During the Christmas break I had a couple of friends over, when my friend Andrea came over I thought that it wouldn't matter if I didn't do all of my insulin which was a bad idea because the next morning I was really sick and I had to go to Brandon to get some of my brackets back on that had fallen off.

I also watched some movies with my mom after I finished watching movies with my mom I had to go and watch movies with my little sister.

Braces

On Wednesday December 15, 1:30 p.m. I'm going to Brandon to get braces on my top teeth my orthodontist said they are going to be $ 5,400.

When I go on Wednesday we have pay $ 1,200 up front.

My mom is taking me in because my dad has to work and her can't take the afternoon off.

I have to have my braces on for 1 and a half to 2 years, if I don't get my braces on right now my orthodontist said he would have to extract teeth. I don't want any teeth to be extracted.

VOLLEYBALL

This weekend my team and I are going to winnipeg to play volleyball. We all hope we win and if there is a trophy we hope to bring it home. We have brought home two trophies since the year has started and it has been a lot of fun playing volleyball with all of the girls.
