Braces

On Wednesday December 15, 1:30 p.m. I'm going to Brandon to get braces on my top teeth my orthodontist said they are going to be $ 5,400.

When I go on Wednesday we have pay $ 1,200 up front.

My mom is taking me in because my dad has to work and her can't take the afternoon off.

I have to have my braces on for 1 and a half to 2 years, if I don't get my braces on right now my orthodontist said he would have to extract teeth. I don't want any teeth to be extracted.

VOLLEYBALL

This weekend my team and I are going to winnipeg to play volleyball. We all hope we win and if there is a trophy we hope to bring it home. We have brought home two trophies since the year has started and it has been a lot of fun playing volleyball with all of the girls.

Volleyball in Reston!!

On Tuesday we went to Reston to play in provincials. For the entire day we play 5 games each game had 2 sets to 25. We won almost every games we only lost 1 set to Reston. At the end of the day we made it to the finals. We had to play 3 sets because we won our first set, lost our second set and then we won our third set. WE BROUGHT THE TROPHY HOME!!

The Vollyball Tournament

Today we had a volleyball tournament at our school.

My team played 3 games this afternoon.

We played one of the more stronger teams and lost a set, we did however win the next set.

The last game of the day was fun, it wasn't because we won both sets it's because we were able to be serious and have fun at the same time.

We had a great tournament only losing 1 set and winning 5 sets.

My Inanimate Object

The one object that I would bring back is my great grandma's car.

ME: Tell me where my great grandma went when she was a teenager!

CAR: your great grandma went to a lot of different places from when she was 16 to about 20 years.

ME: What are some of the coolest places she went to?

CAR: The 2 most interesting places Shirley went to was Brandon and Virden there weren't very many places to go to back then.

ME: That's kind of cool but I live in Virden and I've been to Brandon a lot.

CAR: Yes I'm sure you have but this was back in the day when there was only 20 different places to visit.

ME: Did she do anything else " back in the day"?

CAR: Yes she took your brother to the hospital when he broke his arm!!

ME: When did that happen?

CAR: A very long time ago isn't that funny.

ME: NO you just called her old.

CAR: Well that's it I better go back to the junk yard where my family is!

ME: What did you just say?

CAR: Nothing all I said was I have to go back to my family.

ME: You have a family? That's different I didn't know cars could have family's.

CAR: Well all my friends have family's and my wife and I have 2 kids one is 1 and the other one is 16.

ME: Well I hate to have to stop talking to you but I have to go do some homework, hey do you know much about social studies?

CAR: I guess I know a little bit but I cannot help you that would be cheating because, well I'm old! GOOD-BYE Marissa

ME: GOOD-BYE great grandma Shirley's car!!

What Animal I Resemble!!

I think that I resemble a mouse.

I resemble a mouse because I'm small like a mouse.

Another reason why I resemble a mouse is because they are quiet, just like me.

Lastley, the reason why I resemble a mouse is because I'm shy and so are mice.

MY TOP 10 EXOTIC ANIMALS !

1. Bear-monkey: the bear-monkey is in my top 10 because the monkey and the bear are both one of my favorite animals and they are combined to make the Bear-Monkey.

2. Ligers: Ligers are in my top 10 because they look very interesting and I like it because it has a lion head and a tiger body.

3. Rhesus-monkey: one reason why the rhesus-monkey is in my top 10 is because I like monkeys and the rhesus monkey is very unique.

4. Okapi: the Okapi is in my top 10 because it looks like and deer and a zebra I think it looks really cool.

5. Agouti's: I like the agouti's because it looks like a rabbit and a squirrel at the same time.

6. Aardwolves: the aardwolves look a lot like a hyena and a Wolfe that is why I like it so much and I have never heard of it before.

7. Aye-aye's: the aye-aye's are in my top 10 because I like it's big eye's and it's big ears plus the aye-aye's has no hair.

8. Crested tailed marsupial: I like the crested tailed marsupial because it i small and it is really cute.

9. Sugar gliders: one reason why I like the sugar glider is because I like it's name and it is also small.

10. Mandrill: I like the mandrill because it's butt and mouth have Nice bright colours in them and he is big.

My highlights and low lights of September

One of my highlights of September is that it is almost volleyball season.

I play volleyball ever year, it is one of my favorite sports!!

One of my low lights of September is having to do 3 or 4 science quizzes in our first month of school, science is not my strongest subject!

GYM CLASS

In gym class we have played a lot of games that are really fun.

We had a student teacher in gym class, he is quite tall and very cool, we all enjoyed having him for the short time that he was here.
